Technician IV, Brick Layer Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jizan

 

Advanced Metal Industries Co. (AMIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee and Cristal.

Tasnee, signed a joint venture agreement with Japan’s Toho Titanium Company in January 2014 to build the SAR 1.6 billion project. The titanium sponge project is the region’s first of its type to produce 15,600 tons of pure titanium. The company has sent 69 Saudi engineers to train for two years in Japan on producing pure titanium.

 

An exciting opportunity is available for Technician , Brick Layer, based in Jizan and will reports directly to Supervisor, Refractory.
 
Summary:
Direct execution of operational/refractory activities in compliance to Loss Control Procedures. Assists shift supervisor in carrying out operational/refractory workload. Executes start-up and shutdown jobs, maintain normal operating routines jobs, and conduct sample analysis.

 

In this role, you will be responsible of:
• Comply with safety standards under Loss Control Program,
• Carry-out activities in accordance with operations and refractory, and while maintaining high level of competence in the job.
• Conduct process sampling and testing to meet quality needs of the process section.
• Relay process test results and plant status to shift supervisor or to DCS (as may be required).
• Identify operational limitation in the area and to inform the shift supervisor and seek what action to be done.
• Executes operational activities planned by the shift supervisor.
• Follow guidelines and instruction issued by the Unit Superintendent,
• Executes immediate measures in preventing environmental releases, safety hazard, and production loss in his area.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the area before leaving the work place.
• Identify and report to shift supervisor regarding equipment that shows signs of abnormality.
• Write down in the log book additional jobs carried out in his area during the shift including the status of the area piping, valves, equipment and observations reported to the shift supervisor.
• Comply with ISO 9001 procedures and maintain awareness,
• Ensuring that maintenance jobs conducted in the area are satisfactorily done,
• Prepare and secure the area or equipment before hand-over to maintenance for requested repair or PM s.
• Develop and maintain good industrial relation at all times.
 

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• Diploma Degree in Refractory Material and Installation or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy chemical/refractory process Industry of which, 3 years must be in a comparable position.
