Technician IV, Apprentice Job

An exciting opportunity is available for Technician, Apprentice, based in Riyadh.

 Summary:

Carries out mechanical maintenance services of minor complexity using diverse types of machines, engines, and heavy rotating and stationary equipment.

 In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Takes basic measurements in mechanical equipment with supervision.

2. Develops and applies the basic required skills and qualifications related to the job with help of more senior technicians.

3. Assesses basic problems and deviations from the standard inspections and does simple adjustments with supervision.

4. Complies with all relevant HSE standards; seeks to ensure a healthy, safe work environment and working practices at all times.

5. Assists more senior department members in the performance of basic duties as required.

6. Under supervision repairs and replaces parts, makes adjustments, tuning, and lubricating, following technical equipment manuals.

7. Installs, dismantles, and makes adjustments on tools and equipment with supervision.

8. Verifies simple and basic task results and tracks mechanical operating equipment to detect possible problems.

9. Uses basic instruments of measurement and control to make minor adjustments with supervision.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• Diploma degree.
•Minimum of 2 years experience in the same field.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Technical Safety Technical Safety.
• Mechanical Codes and Standards.
• Troubleshooting Technical Problems.
• Project Management.

• Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
