Technician III, Calibration Job

Calibration Technician - Electrical

 

An exciting opportunity is available Calibration Technician, based in KSA who will report directly to Head of Technical Department. 

 

Summary:

We are seeking for a motivated Calibration Technician who can perform in various complex duties classified as monitor, test, calibrate and incidental repair instrumentation and equipment’s are regularly serviced and calibrated to company & quality standards.

 

In this role, you will be responsible of:

  • Use various tools to calibrate Thermodynamics equipment.
  • Ensure recording, measuring, and indicating devices and equipment meet established standards and consistently procedure accurate and reliable results.
  • Conduct routine testing to determine if instrument and equipment are performing within established ranges. Calibration technicians analyze test data to make decisions about the need for calibration, repair and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular maintenance to ensure IMTE meet performance and quality standards. Calibration technicians use system and software to track, schedule, and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Contribute to the repair of instruments, equipment, and control systems; by either repair or provide support to the other individuals and throughout the repair process.
  • Documents service through reports and other paperwork, prepare calibration certificates, data reports, and provide recommendations to line managers.
  • Alert superior of potential emergencies immediately.
  • Research new parts and machinery for improved operations.
  • Documents problematic environmental factors and working with the facility manager to correct the problem or reduce its impact.
  • Compliance to all applicable policies, procedure, and work instructions as per QHSE, ISO standards and the legal / regulatory requirements.

 

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Science of Mechanical Engineering
  • Fair knowledge on ISO 17025 accredited laboratory and ISO 9001:2015 is an advantage.
  • At least 6 years’ experience for diploma holder
  • Al least 4 years’ experience for Bachelor holder
  • Valid local driver’s license is an added advantage.
  • Good background in electrical works using temperature IMTE. Background in Calibration or Testing LAB in a huge advantage. (IMTE -200 to 1200C)

• Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.

• Very good with computer relating to MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
