Job purpose

As a highly experienced Instrumentation and electrical Technician performs a range of Maintenance and control work in an industrial plant covering installation, maintenance, repair. Performs standard work routines and none routine on a board range of equipment under general guidance. Requires authoritative knowledge of Instrumentation and electrical

Role responsibilities:

• Tests and repairs I/E equipment and sensors with limited supervision
• Installs new cables, wiring and Instrumentation fixtures. Inspects I/E equipment at frequent intervals.
• Calibrates, maintains, repairs analogue/digital equipment and pneumatic control and indicating devices
• Analyzes performance of equipment and participates in fault analysis and troubleshooting
• Reads I/E manuals, specifications, procedures and follows clear instructions for setting up test practices
• Uses sophisticated testing equipment and tools to test and troubleshoot complex I/E equipment
• Performs advanced preventive and corrective maintenance of I/E that requires moderate experience.
• Guides technically less experienced technicians to carry out activities and usage of testing equipment
• Guides technically less experienced technicians to carry out activities and usage of testing equipment
• Complies with all relevant HSE standards; seeks to ensure a healthy, safe work environment and working practices at all times

Qualification and Requirements:

• 6-8 Years’ experience
• Completed Diploma or Degree in the respective field
