Technician, Microbiology Job

Work Location:  GCC > Dubai

 

 

An exciting opportunity is available in TUV MIDDLE EAST (Dubai, UAE) for a Technician, QA/QC Microbiology LAB based in Dubai and will report directly to Assistant Manager, Microbiology

 

 

 

About the role:

 

Plan and direct the Quality Control to ensure lab testing provided at the highest quality and ensuring compliance with procedures and safety regulations

 

you will be responsible to:

 

  • Compliance with the financial policies and procedures of the company.
  • Ensuring that microbiology analysis is performed as per procedures & legal requirement without any deviation.
  • Identifying the test parameters as per the contract for the analysis
  • Performs quality control check on instruments/equipment’s identifies mechanical problems and either perform the necessary adjustment or conduct maintenance
  • Perform Internal Quality Checks as per IQC plan
  • Maintains stock &working status of Certified Reference Material.
  • Estimate measurement of uncertainty.
  • Maintains established departmental policies &procedures, quality improvement, safety & environmental standards
  • Inspects the hygienic conditions of the Laboratory and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  • Supervise and provide training to the house keeping staff.
  • Verifying all QC related records.
  • Review, verifies and sign the Test Reports as needed.
  • Timely submission of the following reports.
  • Ensure client & vendor integrity (documents, analytical information’s where required), communications, notifications.
  • Assist in development of forms, procedures and tools to improve processes and increase company efficiency and risk management.
  • Compliance to all applicable policies, procedures and work instructions as per QHSE,ISO & CMS standards and the legal / regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance with company code of ethics.
  • Compliance to contractual agreements.
  • Cordial work relationship with colleagues

 

About You:

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s in food microbiology/science/chemistry.
  • Awareness of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, measurement of uncertainty
  • Professional Knowledge.
  • Business & Industry knowledge.
     

 

Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years of experience, in the field of microbiology & Quality.
