Job Purpose:

 

Supervise a team of Technicians in maintains plant process analyzers in a good condition to enable accurate measurement with minimum maintenance interruption. Diagnoses faults, Performs Preventive and Corrective Maintenance / work and troubleshooting on site or workshop.

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

  1. Maintains analyzer equipment on his unit according to the maintenance requirements.
  2. Steward the unit analyzer maintenance activities.
  3. Ensuring the technicians are trained on SAP and PM module.
  4. Supervision to ensure work is within the analyzer technician’s level.
  5. Evaluates the competency of analyzer technicians.
  6. Allocates work to the analyzer technicians.
  7. Ensures analyzer equipment inspection/preventive maintenance findings and recommendations are entered into SAP PM.
  8. Working data entry problems as necessary.
  9. Identify Bad actors and prepare report with action plan for rectification.
  10. Review test certificate for acceptability of equipment and request for any additional   tests.
  11. Complete the technical evaluation when required.
  12. Review and maintain PM records and verify quality of PM data entry.
  13. Approve spare parts proposals for analyzer equipment.
  14. Provide the experience of specifying analyzer equipment suitable for use on the site especially when required for use in Hazardous Areas with different gas groups.
  15. Provide the support to projects ensuring the new plant’s analyzers and analyzer systems is correctly designed, tested and installed.
  16. Provide, when required, training and assessment for site analyzer people, and identify training requirements for others. Have the knowledge and experience of analyzers and analyzer systems design and different application of them

 

Qualification and Requirement:

 

  • Associate degree in Industrial Chemistry or related area in Engineering / Instrumentation field with 7 years of experience.
  • Experience in the field of Petrochemicals Process Analyzer Systems
