Job Purpose:
EC production superintendent role will provide focused leadership on improving operation efficiency as he will work with the staff for midterm plant issues, TAM activities and to improve MOCs and PM plan.
Job Summary:
Liaison for long term planning & system compliance. Updating and uploading documents in system. Responsible for IMRS meetings and walkthroughs, preparation of shutdown & TAM list.
Role responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth plant production and quality
- Identify and analyze midterm operational challenges
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure plant performance aligns with operational goals
- Follow up key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed
- Troubleshoot production issues and work on solutions
- Ensure plant is meeting all EHHS/RC/Government regulations
- Manage raw materials and coordinate with procurement and logistic for timely deliveries
- Reduce waste and optimize resources
- Lead, monitor and control all RCA’s, Technical investigations and Open Recommendations
- Report, monitor and control plant bad actors, Performance Killers and Sustainability KPIs
- Ensure full compliance to IMRS system e.g. eRM, Meriduem and EHHS actions with proper tracking
- Review TAM List activities
- Review lessons learned from past turnarounds to improve future shutdowns and startup efficiency
- Ensure MOC procedures are properly followed for any process, equipment, or operational changes
- Follow up MOC’s implantation plan
- Review and analyze PM data
- Optimize PM and align with downtime strategy
- Coordinate with maintenance and reliability teams to optimize spare parts inventory and work order management
Qualification and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
12+ years of experience in Ethylene Craker Plant (Any relevant Steam Cracking Technology)
