Superintendent, Material Handling Sales Job

Work Location:  KSA > Hael

An exciting opportunity is available for a Superintendent, Material Handling Sales and will report directly to Sales & Marketing.


About the role:


Develop and implement sales strategy for Material Handling product line. This includes managing the entire portfolio of products throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the portfolio vision, managing and working with cross functional teams consisting of sales, operation, finance, and supply chain; Moreover, the Sales Head will be in full charge of getting the products certified and approved by official agencies and authorities. Responsible for product development, pricing, promotion & distribution. Initiate market research and develop marketing opportunities and plans. Generate sales orders and build strong relationship with customers & optimize the right solution for customers’ business needs.


you will be responsible to:


  • Achieve the product portfolio annual budget
  • Research the industry in cooperation with the Marketing Team for related events, publications, and all marketing communication and tactical initiatives
  • Keeps abreast of emergence/ evolution of new concepts/ products in the Agro markets and monitor up-to-date changes and products decline.
  • Defines the Product Development Strategy in collaboration with Senior Marketing team, and Head of Product Development
  • Cooperate with finance department to assure payments from customers are collected within payment terms
  • Monitor competitor activity
  • Manages sustainable contacts/ relationships with all relevant industry stakeholders/ experts, in order to be kept informed on the last market/ product trends,
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products for targeted sales regions (Local, Domestic (KSA), Regional, International)
  • Supervise field tests and solicit and gather feedback.
  • With the Material Handling team, conduct joint visits to takes part in discussions with customers and farmers, to identify product needs.
  • Identify new products with economical and technical feasibility studies, working with the factory team.
  • Develop and maintain BRAND Strategy to continue to build a strong business pipeline
  • Evaluate pricing strategy for new products, with support from the Marketing team & the head of Product Development
  • Responsible for the Marketing Strategy implementation in collaboration with Marketing team and other departments
  • Participate in the development of the supportive systems (tools, reports, etc.) used in Market Research/ Market Analysis activities such as computerization, communication, etc.
  • Initiate and participate in the preparation of the daily/ weekly/ monthly/ quarterly/ yearly reports for top management involving data collection, assimilation of current market/ product developments in the international Material Handling market and identify likely trends and formulate outlooks.
  • Find synergies in cross selling other company products



About You:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • At least 6-8 years of work experience in sales of plastic Material Handling or related products
  • Familiarity with extrusion manufacturing process, master batch procurement polyethylene products preferred
  • Strong Communications skills
  • Work experience in product development is required
  • Planning skills (Strategic, Operations, Finance, etc.) & all other related soft skills
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Fluent in Arabic & English, speaking & writing.
