Sr Supervisor, Raw Materials Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jizan


Advanced Metal Industries Co. (AMIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee and Cristal.

Tasnee, signed a joint venture agreement with Japan’s Toho Titanium Company in January 2014 to build the SAR 1.6 billion project. The titanium sponge project is the region’s first of its type to produce 15,600 tons of pure titanium. The company has sent 69 Saudi engineers to train for two years in Japan on producing pure titanium.


An exciting opportunity is available for Sr Supervisor, Raw Materials, based in Jizan and will reports directly to Section Head, Warehouse & Distribution.



Responsible for managing all Raw Materials & Process Chemicals warehouse operations, warehouse management, inbound & outbound logistics, inventory management, PORT Operations, fleet management and personals while maintaining a safe working environment, and to achieve supply chain goals and improvements to ensure the ongoing success for the business and alignment with Slagger business strategies and objectives


In this role, you will be responsible of:  
•Ensures adherence of Safety practices while handling materials
•Prepare Fiscal Budget proposal, forecasting and control of operational expenses.
•Setting strategic objectives and Key performance indicators and targets with deadlines and reporting on monthly basis on the status of KPI.
•Manage inbound & outbound materials movements and operational activities.
•Manage the fleet for transporting and delivery of materials to and from plant.
•Coordination with other related functional departments such as production, procurement, logistics departments.
•Coordination with 3rd Party Logistics services providers and ensure smooth inbound & outbound operations at PORT & External WH
•Participates in attending plant morning meeting
•Monitor and control materials that have shelf life
•Manage physical inventory on midyear and yearend
•Verifies and insure all required documentations for incoming and outgoing shipments are complying with company policies and authorities.
•Ensures total adherence to local government and security regulations and laws.
•Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of materials.
•Coordination and communication with Port Authorities & Saudi Customs to ensure smooth operation at the time of Ship loading and offloading.


Minimum Qualification and Experience:
•BS in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
•Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing industry
•Knowledgeable of Safety regulatory standards related to Warehouse operations.
