Sr Specialist I, QA/QC Job

     An exciting opportunity is available for Specialist – QA/QC Located in Jubail, KSA

 

Job Purpose

           This role level is a broadening stage for graduate engineers after several years at Level 5. Role holders will undertake assignments of limited scope and complexity involving a range of standard problem-solving techniques and computational methods, sometimes assisting more senior professionals who will at all times provide some supervision and guidance based on detailed work review.  Role holders may need to supervise entry level role holders and prepare reports on work undertaken.

 

Role responsibilities:

 

  • Undertake and complete, under general supervision, assignments of limited scope and complexity involving a range of standard problem solving techniques and computational methods.
  • Acquire data, largely from well established sources, and carry out straightforward analyses as an input to problem resolution and trend analysis.
  • Identify and address frequently recurring problems within own levels of expertise and experience, reaching appropriate solutions, for senior review prior to implementation, through standard procedures and professional knowledge.
  • Participate in, and benefit from, formal and informal on-the-job training and development, and from work/job rotation, in order to develop skills and capabilities.
  • Provide work direction and first-line supervision to Level 5 Professional Engineers and assigned technicians and monitor progress to ensure completion of tasks to time and quality standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings in order to keep informed on developments of significance and to contribute views on ways forward.
  • Work in conjunction with contract service providers in order to assist in the delivery of required outputs, acquire expertise and assist in ensuring contract compliance.
  • Maintain awareness of developments in sub-discipline in order to keep informed and identify opportunities for improvement for the benefit of Tasnee.
  • Prepare routine analytical and progress reports for review and acceptance by seniors.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all approved HSE procedures and practices in order to afford protection to life, property and the environment.

 

Qualification and Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 2 year's experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry
