Sr Specialist I, Analyzer Job

      An exciting opportunity is available for Sr Specialist, Analyzer Located in Jubail, KSA

Job Purpose

            To provide process analyzer related maintenance and repair support services to various plants in TPC. He is also responsible for maintaining the sample handling system as well as Quality Control monitoring of the Process analyzers performance and SME for process analyzers maintenance related work.

Role responsibilities:

• Ensure that Process analyzers perform in accordance with the specifications (i.e., Response Time, Accuracy, Precision and Mean Time between Failure (MTBF)).
• Participate in review meetings to identify opportunities for improvements for process analyzers based on periodic maintenance data and calibration records.
• Evaluate performance of sample conditioning system and recommend remedies/improvements.
• Lead process analyzers major maintenance and repair activities.
• Review Process analyzers design packages, design changes.
• Participate in Factory and Site Acceptance Tests
• Ensure that service requests are well understood, value adding, and aligned with the business, unit, and team goal.
• Communicate regularly with plant personnel to assess the team’s performance and operational status.
• Lead in monitoring and obtaining calibration standards, parts, and consumable items for analyzers.
• Apply statistical tools (e.g., SQC charts) in the evaluation of analyzers’ variables and in determining calibration needs.
• Participate in reviews that identify opportunities to optimize the number of analyzers performing on-line and in the lab.
• Keep abreast with latest trends and technological advancement in the related fields; network with peers to share technology and leverage problem-solving and prevention expertise.
• Provide technical and mentoring support for analyzer technicians at the field.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Diploma degree in instrumentation or electronics engineering.‎
• ‎Minimum 8 - 15 years experience
• Adequate experience in the field of Petrochemicals and Chemical Analysis
