An exciting opportunity is available for Sr Chemist , QA/QC Located in Jubail .

POSITION SUMMARY:

The job holder is responsible to implement, approve Laboratory Procedures/equipment/Processes to provide competent & reliable Quality Control Services to plant operations, maintenance and technical areas, in a safe and cost-efficient manner to ensure production quality as per TASNEE standards.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Laboratory Quality improvement: Leading Laboratory equipment reliability, product quality related improvement tasks, Leading Technical customer complaint investigation, performing Root cause analysis related to Quality incidents, participate in quality meeting, Evaluation of RR/PT & planning to perform, Providing and updating the product specification, Active involvement in process trouble shooting if requested, auditing & spot testing the reported results as and when required.

Strategy: Support in preparation of capital expenditure, operating expenditure budgets, KPI’s, departmental business plan etc. based on laboratory objectives and to ensure smooth running of laboratory. Assist in control of Laboratory waste management.
Raw material Evaluation: Introduction and approval of new raw material or supplier by testing and evaluation, Control of raw material quality by auditing the concern department

Test methods: Maintaining the updated standard test methods (Licensor & or supplier), Analytical Methods review & development, Method validation, qualification of staffs on test methods. Ensure the adherence of SOP/work-instructions, during the execution of job for Laboratory Equipment.

Calibration: Prepare maintenance/Calibration schedule of Equipment and managing it. Procure the required standards from suppliers for calibration/validation of equipment. Equipment procurement & technical evaluation, Equipment Calibration Evaluation

Monitoring Equipment performance: Performing SQC-Statistical analysis of data & process control Reports. Preparation of monitor samples and validate the same.

Sampling: Preparation & reviewing of Sampling schedule. To contribute in the development of product and optimization of sampling requirements.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry.

Minimum Experience:

Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience.
Adequate experience in the field of Petrochemicals and Chemical Analysis
