Specialist III, OT Infrastructure Job

An exciting opportunity is available for Specialist, OT Infrastructure Based in Jizan and will report directly to Manager, Process Technology and BI.

About the role:

ASIC’s IT/OT architecture consists of three layers i.e. the Process Control Zone (Level3), Demilitarized Zone (Level3.5) and the EBS network (Level4). The nature of the systems present in each of the different zones requires the expertise of a Specialist OT. These systems include but are not limited to operational information systems, process tools, data management, data back-up, fire walls, anti-virus and remote access systems. The Specialist OT will also work on future operational needs, business improvement and development. The Specialist OT will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and development of these applicable systems.

You will be responsible for:

• Contribute to implementing and maintaining IT/OT systems, associated infrastructure, and remote access to support business operations.
• Support IT/OT security, data protection, risk management, and disaster recovery tasks.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing core IT/OT systems and business solutions to meet organizational goals.
• Help define IT/OT system requirements and departmental workflows.
• Assist in operating, administering, monitoring, and maintaining OT systems and communication networks.
• Support departments with their IT/OT needs.
• Participate and execute IT/OT projects specifically system planning, deployment, configuration, and commissioning.
• Support network infrastructure and network systems hardware/software (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) required for the OT system.
• Provide support for IT/OT systems, hardware and software.
• Support systems to manage data and make it available for use within the organization.
• Develop and implement systems and process tools to meet operational and process needs.
• Manage software licensing, updates and upgrades within the OT environment.
• Ensure compliance with IT/OT and cyber security policies.

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma / bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Minimum Experience:

5 years of experience or more in IT/OT systems in a business environment, including implementation and improvement projects.
