Specialist III, Global Network Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jubail

 

An exciting opportunity is available for Specialist III, Global Network, based in Jubail and will reports directly to Manager, Global Network & Unified Comms,

 

About the role: 

Define the typical knowledge and experience required for the position.  Include technical or specialized knowledgeرand experience, supervisory or managerial skills and experience, human relations skills and any professional qualifications/certifications required.

In this role, you will be responsible of:   

  • Install, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, administer and upgrade LAN, WAN and WLAN devices.
  • Install, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, administer, manage and upgrade Cisco CUCM, CUC, Paging and UCCX systems.
  • Manage cisco routers through CLI for routing and UC tasks.
  • Maintain the integration between different UC systems through trunks (ex, Cisco-Avaya trunks).
  • Maintain a Change Management log for changes made in the production environment.
  • Provide 3rd level support to resolve Help Desk/Operations tickets as assigned.
  • Ensure appropriately updated and patched, ensuring system security and reliability.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by direct manager.
  • Direct involvement in projects related to assigned roles.
  • Work with IT and business units to identify and design new and enhance existing infrastructure.
  • Prepare Technical specifications for infrastructure requirements.
  • Advise on best practices and make recommendations on functionality that best supports business objectives.
  • Collaborate with personnel throughout the IT organisation in the implementation and support of global IT initiatives.
  • Support business initiatives.
  • Maintain and foster collaborative effort with all business functions and the IT teams to identify, establish and share best practices.
  • Vendor management and interaction to provide best effective solutions.
  • Ensure cost and system optimization to reduce over spending.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through communication, surveys, etc.
  • Maintain the agreed KPI and SLA for the services under his responsibility.

 

About You:

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing and operate data and voice networks across multiple sites
  • Configure and maintain LAN, WAN & WLAN networks within number of sites
  • Cisco Certified Network associate (CCNA) routing & switching 
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) collaboration
  • CCNP routing & switching certification is a plus
  • PMP/ITIL certification is a plus
