An exciting opportunity is available for a Sr Specialist I, Data & Business Analyst Located in, Riyadh.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Analyst will be focusing on enhancing the performance of the M&S team through data and economic analysis. Will also engage in other business initiatives to improve/ support all departments.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, monitor and support improvement of various KPIs/ parameters that will enhance the overall performance of sales.
• Develop and operate other economic models/ analysis/ tools that can enhance overall sales and operational efficiency.
• Generation of regular and adhoc reports to management and internal stake-holders.
• Create, test, and deploy price prediction models that will forecast short-term and long-term prices of chemicals not limited to crude oil, Propane, olefins, polyolefins, and others. Monitor and report price modeling performance.
• In charge of Price control process – execution, testing and improvements. Involves SAP and Python
• In charge of managing the completion, implementation and maintenance of the pricing tool that will run the pricing models
• Regular interaction with other departments to identify improvement areas that can be addressed through data analytics/ science. Recommending solutions/ tools/ databases that can help in the overall improvement of business.
• Will be part of team and/or leading various business initiatives as deemed fit by the company.
• Support adhoc requests from the team/ management related to data analytics and related fields to solve business problems.

Minimum Qualification:

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, math, economics, and business or other related technical discipline.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in analytics or data science
• Experience in Business Analyst/ Data Scientist role preferred
• Experience in Petrochemicals/ Polymers, while not mandatory, will offer advantage
