Specialist, Sales & Marketing Planning Job

An exciting opportunity is available for a Specialist, Sales & Marketing Planning, Located in Riyadh .





Works closely with the sales and marketing team, and the Business Planning/ Production team. In charge of the overall planning of sales volumes, including forecast, coordination with production, leading S&OP, monitoring sales volumes and ensuring effective allocation and sales of volumes in coordination with sales and market intelligence teams.





  • Responsible for short-term and long-term volume forecast in coordination with sales based on the market needs and the plant constraints. Creates, maintains and fine tunes the rolling volume forecast.
  • Represents the interests of the Marketing team in the S&OP meetings to negotiate and receive the grades and allocations as planned. Also, in charge of coordinating any changes to the production plan during the course of the month due to changes in the markets, production constraints, etc.
  • In charge of receiving the final production plan and creating the sales plan optimized on NB and other relevant factors.
  • In charge of monitoring the sales with regards to the plan and ensuring the teams follow the plan.
  • Responsible to flag-off any deviations to the monthly allocations and coordinate with the sales managers to reduce deviations, receive justifications for any deviation and drive re-planning activities, if there are any requirements during the month.
  • Responsible to drive the Monthly Pricing Announcement discussion including coordinating with all the relevant stakeholders, data preparation, finalization, and approval. Any changes during the month to also be updated and approved.
  • Should be aware of the ongoing market trends by coordinating with the marketing intelligence and the sales teams/ agents to make any optimizations of the plan, if required.
  • To create, in coordination with the relevant teams, any monitoring tools/ dashboards that will help to optimize the plan, monitor sales, improve results and track key KPIs related to sales volumes
  • In charge of monitoring the material balance and inventory situation, so as to ensure smooth sales as per plan
  • Responsible also to coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure smooth forecasting, planning and monthly shipment execution.
  • The focal point during the annual budget to finalise volume and grade allocations from the JV.
  • Any other activity that relates to the volume that will impact sales.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business Administration with Marketing preferred
  • Any certifications related to planning will be an advantage.


Minimum Experience:

3-5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing, with specific experience in sales forecast, sales planning and coordination, volume allocation and monitoring.
