Job Purpose

Maintenance (Electrical Supervisor) oversees an electrical maintenance section and is proficient in all electrical maintenance related technical and supervisory skills.

Role responsibilities:

• Planning and supervision
• Work permit
• Trouble shooting and repair
• Preventive maintenance
• Housekeeping
• Training
• Materials and equipment
• Timekeeping and overtime work
• HSE
• Duty roster/callout
• Plan, allocate and schedule manpower for various maintenance jobs to meet the daily maintenance objectives, in accordance with company and industry work procedure standards.
• Respond swiftly to emergency repairs to restore the failed machines or equipment to operating condition as quickly as possible.
• Ensure the workplace is always maintained clean and tidy in line with company standards.
• Adhere to HSE regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Lead daily toolbox talk with his technicians &highlight any safety issue related to the assigned work to technicians.
• Standby whenever required to meet urgent or continent requirements of the plant e.g., plant turnaround or shutdown call out suitable technician to cover emergency jobs.
• Awareness of MS office and SAP system.
• Supervising electrical maintenance service and repairs of equipment and fixtures such as motors and transformers.
• Applying best practice procedures utilized in electrical maintenance.
• Supervising team of electrical maintenance workers.
• Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team.
• Providing motivation and assistance when necessary.
• Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical team.
• Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
• Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Diploma in electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of operational experience of working with electrical maintenance dept in any chemical / petrochemical industry
