Section Head, Accounts Receivable - DS Job

Facility:  KSA > Riyadh

 

An exciting opportunity is available for Section Head, Accounts Receivable - DS, based in Riyadh and will reports directly to Head, Finance Operations.

 

Job Purpose:

 

Provides the day to day administrative and technical supervision to collections and accounts receivables accountants.

This is the first level of supervision where the incumbent has both administrative and technical responsibility for staff.

 

Role responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable activities to meet the needs of Tasnee.
  • Supervise regulatory compliance, and implementation of Tasnee internal and external policies.
  • Collaborates with various internal departments to develop schedules, procedures, and systems to enable the timely reporting of financial data.
  • Should be able to coordinate independently with outside parties including insurance agencies, customers, and banks.
  • Ensures that company receivables are collected on or before due date and updated in SAP. All those not collected must be escalated according to the collection procedures.
  • Ensures that credit management policies are fully adhered to, and receivables of the company are full secured accordingly.
  • Ensure that securities obtained from customers are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Prepares periodical reports relating to collections and receivables and present and discuss them with business sales and management
  • Continually monitors systems, processes, workflows to identify opportunities for upgradation, improvement, streamlining, cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure timely closing of books every month and quarter end, calculation of ECL as per IFRS requirement and ensure that receivable balances are accurately reflected in the books of account.

Follow-up on key risks and opportunities identified by audit and reviews for improvement of financial performance.

 

Qualification and Requirements:

 

  • degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 7+ years’ experience in accounting including 3 years in managing and leading Accounts receivable function
  • Working in Finance Shared Services envoirnment is a plus.
