Coordinator, Customer Svc & Document Job

Work Location:  KSA > Riyadh

An exciting opportunity is available for a Coordinator III, Trade & Compliance and will report directly to Section Head of Trade & Compliance.


About the role:

To be responsible for the full trade assigned region documentation management, including activities such as LC finalization, Legalization of documents with authorities, Pre-shipment documents, Bill of Lading finalization, Post-shipment documents, Bank clean documents negotiation. 


You will be responsible to:

  • All shipping and trade related process and documentation assigned to the region.
  • Pre-shipment complete process but not limited to the followings:
  1. Letter of Credit review and finalize strictly to comply requirements with customer and Bank.
  2. Pre-Shipment Documents preparation, Legalization and release for booking.
  • Post-Shipment Process complete process but not limited to the followings:
  1. Draft Bill of Lading follow-up and review with Shipping line and/or customer.
  2. Monitor shipments ETD, SOB against covered regions for Bill of Lading handling.
  3. Finalize Bill of Lading draft before shipment and receive full set original Bill of Lading strictly as per Letter of credit compliance prompt after shipment.
  4. Post-Shipment Documents preparation, submit to bank/customer and negotiate with Bank for Letter of credit or other payment terms consideration.
  5. Follow-up with Bank for original dispatch details to provide customer for import clearance.
  6. Coordinate with Bank, Finance, CS and customer for any payment delay issues and act as focal point for bank related payment terms by providing swift instruction to bank for debit or credit notes, other instructions etc.
  7. Coordinate with Shipping line for shipping guarantee approval required by customers for short transit, etc.
  8. Escalate to superiors for any non-compliance issues, contradictions with orders and LC/shipping instructions.
  9. Maintain run time status report of his assigned activities.
  10. Reporting periodical KPIs, issues, exceptions, etc. and suggest process improvement.

About You:

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor Degree in Business, Commerce, Banking Preferred.


Minimum Experience:

3 - 5 years working knowledge in export Letter of Credit documentation, Proficiency in Internation trade banking operations and payment terms and Knowledge of inco terms, UCP 600, ISBP rules, containers/tankers shipping, Bill of lading.


Required Skills:

  • Trade finance operation and  Export LC Documentation.
  • MS office applications (excel, powerpoint).
  • Good organization skills.
  • SAP knowleadge
