Chemist, Quality Lead Job

An exciting opportunity is available for a Chemist, Quality Lead and will report directly to QA/QC Manager

 

About the role:

 

To implement a robust quality system aligning with the ISO 17025 standard & IMRS.

 

you will be responsible to:

 

  • Understanding the needs of Customers: Identify the interested parties of the Quality Management System such as External & Internal customers, suppliers and determine what the requirements of these interested parties are. Keep the information up to date.
  • Establishment and continual improvement of the QMS processes: To establish the Quality management processes and their interactions are determined and implemented, this process flow mapping needs to be maintained in order to track the continual improvement of the QMS.
    • Ensure that all concern employees are adequately trained & aware their responsibilities related to QMS
  • Customer focus and product conformity: As far as customer focus is concern identify the risks and opportunities that can affect product conformity.
  • Quality objectives: Monitoring the quality objectives that have been established and reporting to top management.
  • Audits planning & management: To establish the internal audit programs & do Performance evaluation. Follow up the corrective actions of observations & NCRs.
    • Coordinate external (third party) audits, monitor action completions, maintained the QMS system & related records.
  • Nonconformity and corrective action: Develops, implement & review the Quality Incident Reporting & procedure.
    • To encourage employees to identify nonconformity & raise it. Investigate the nonconformities, take corrective actions & follow up.

 

About You:

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. 
  • Adequate experience in the field of Petrochemicals and Chemical Analysis.

 

Minimum Experience:  

  • 5-8 Years
