Polymer Process Engineer Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jubail

An exciting opportunity is available for a Polymer Process Engineer and will report directly to Process Engineering Polymer Superintendent.

 

 

About the role:

 

Process Engineer is responsible on overall monitoring and enhance various plant operations. Provide operating facilities with required expertise to promote innovative solution, troubleshoot assistance, increase revenue, review & assist capital projects and develop company engineering guidelines & procedures. Roles in the family are predominantly differentiated by complexity of tasks undertaken, supervisory scope, magnitude of the allocated area of responsibility and the competencies, skills and experience needed.

 

You will be responsible to:

 

  • Monitors day to day plant process parameters.
  • Handles the process engineering issues concerning plant change development, plant redesign, scouting and feasibility studies, new bases of designs, plant operation optimization, and operational support.
  • Provides input for preparation Department Capital and Operating budgets and monitor annual expenditure budgets.
  • Supports/ leads technical studies / surveys with teams within Tasnee or external teams for   the Process Engineering and other related issues.
  • Operation and utility issue troubleshooting
  • Ensures efficient performance of equipment and process operation.
  • Advises on procedures for reducing material and energy losses.
  • Prepares required management of change with regards to international process Engineering standards and Best technical practices.
  • Establishes priorities of process efficiency research and development such as Cracking, hydrogenation & separation, new process technologies, improved process operations and energy systems.
  • Hydraulics Calculation and Equipment Sizing.
  • Reaction Kinetics and Catalysts Performance monitoring
     
    Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Polymer Engineering

 

Minimum Experience:

 

10 years of experience in Petrochemicals process. In particular, polypropylene gas phase process, LDPE process, Super Absorbent Polymer process. 

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong command of business-level written and spoken English
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Polypropylene gas phase process.
  • LDPE process tubular reactor process
