An exciting opportunity is available for a Engineer , Process Control, Located in, Jubail.

Position Summary:

               •             Process Control Engineer-APC is responsible for overall monitoring and enhancing the Advanced Applications like APC, Alarm Management, PIMS and CPMS. Provide operating facilities with required expertise to promote innovative solution, troubleshoot assistance, increase revenue, review & assist capital projects and develop company engineering guidelines & procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

• • Ensure the safe and smooth implementation of the APC across the complex following the approved procedures.
  • Ensure that the APC applications are maintained, and the controllers are fully utilised to reap the benefit of the advanced applications.
  • Provides input for preparation Department Capital and Operating budgets and monitor annual expenditure budgets.
  • Supports/ leads technical studies / surveys with teams within Tasnee or external teams for the Process Control Engineering and other related issues.
  • Support plant operation departments in implementing and maintaining APC for process units and resolve APC system related problems to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
  • Evaluate any new technical developments in process control and APC in order to improve and enhance existing Applications.
  • Contributes to the preparation of engineering design packages for plant modification to ensure the current APC systems will not be affected.
  • Administrate and ensure 100% Process History Data availability.
  • Administrate and ensure availability of the alarm management system.
  • Administrate and ensure availability of the PID /APC - Control performance Monitoring system.
  • Composes different parameters involved in a control loop tuning and their impact on the loop performance.
  • Evaluates new technology and trends in Advanced applications and makes recommendations to deploy in the plant to optimize the operation in a safe and reliable manner.
  • To prepare, analyse and evaluate process control applications studies identify the cause, cure and prepare full investigation reports.
  • To handle process control issues concerning plant change development, APC redesign, scouting and feasibility studies, new bases of designs, plant operation optimization, and operational support.
  • Collaborate with IT to integrate Advanced Application with external digital business solutions.
  • Administering Process Control applications in IT/Business network in coordination with IT.
  • Ensures the Compliance with the OT Cybersecurity requirements as per the applicable regulations without any impact on APC Functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:

• Chemical Engineering Background.
• 5+ Years of Experience.
• Knowledge in Advanced Applications (APC, Alarm Management, Historian).
• Knowledge in IT systems.
