Planner V, Maintenance Job

Advanced smelting Industries Co. (ASIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee.

The smelter is situated in the Jizan Economic City and is designed to smelt ilmenite (Titanium rich mineral sand) to produce Titania Dioxide slag and pig iron. The plant consists of two Electric Arc furnaces, each with a capacity of 250kt slag and 125kt pig iron. The slag that is produced is tapped from the furnace and processed to be used as feed stock for the titanium chlorination and sulphuric acid processes to finally produce Titanium pigment which is mainly used in paints and plastics.

An exciting opportunity is available for Maintenance Planner, based in Jizan, KSA who will report directly to Reliability and Planning Superintendent. 

Summary:

We are seeking for a motivated Maintenance Planner who will prioritize, plan, schedule, all maintenance work carried out at the sites ongoing development of weekly/monthly/annual planning processes. Ensuring team compliance with planning methodologies

In this role, you will be responsible of:

• Prepare a schedule of planned maintenance work by ensuring compliance with agreed planning and scheduling methodologies
• Co-ordinate between production and maintenance team the preparation of schedules to minimize impact of plant outages to carry out preventative maintenance programs or other
• Ensure CMMS (SAP) is operating effectively at all times and the data is accurate and timely
• Implement job plans into maintenance management system, review and update on an ongoing basis
• Ensure efficient contractor/employee resource utilization. 
• Prepare and update maintenance plans, equipment specifications for all plant and equipment.
• Manage projects related to area of responsibility.
• Complete any and all tasks assigned by planning supervisor.
• Communicates directly with Procurement and Store departments regarding parts required and inventory levels needed to complete all scheduled Work Orders and PM Orders.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

• 5 years experience with a Diploma or High School Certificate
• Diploma in Mechanical or High School Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience  in Maintenance in process industry
• Heavy industry minimum of 3 years as a planner, plus 2 years as a technician in the field

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Experience of MS Project or other Planning Tools, CMMS (SAP)
• Shutdown Planning
• Understanding budgeting and estimating of work; resources, spare parts, contractors
• Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience in criticality analysis, RCM and FMECA
• Experience in 5S, SMED, etc.
• Knowledge of industry equipment and basic process knowledge
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
