     An exciting opportunity is available for Planner, TAM Located in Jubail, KSA

Job Purpose

     Role holders at this stage are to estimate and plan for timely availability of all resources i.e. manpower, material reservation, equipment and vendor requirements for effective execution without any delays. To monitor progress and performance of work for schedule jobs. To develop task lists for repairs corrective maintenance provides inputs for preventive and predictive maintenance, plant shutdowns and turnarounds.

     Role responsibilities:

  • Prepare job plan packages for complex, non-routine, corrective routine maintenance jobs, per criteria defined in company maintenance standards.
  • Determine requirements for resources as well as job package such as manpower, skills, estimated man hours, material, spares and special support devices such as cranes, forklifts etc., in consultation with execution supervisor in order to plan and requisition for the same.
  • Acquire all information and inputs from originators of work requests to prepare a resource plan for required resources so that timely availability can be assured.
  • Maintain information on backlog jobs pending due to resource unavailability, shutdown etc. and follow up with concerned departments to expedite work
  • Review requirements for plant shutdown, discuss details with maintenance and operation engineer / supervisor and prepare consolidated work lists for shutdown as well as preliminary estimates of manpower and material
  • Prepare regular performance reports, status reports etc. using the computerized system to maximum advantage.
  • Estimate the time duration, manpower availability and equipment availability for shut down periods to prepare and circulate a schedule for the shut-down phase, recommending contract services, where necessary
  • Initiate, track, expedite, and coordinate material acquisition, issuance, delivery, and staging, and recycle associated with routine maintenance work orders and routine maintenance schedule
  • Participate in daily maintenance scheduling meeting to ensure material and equipment readiness for short range routine maintenance jobs, other updates to work order material and equipment preparation status and progress items and agree on updates to the short, intermediate and long term maintenance schedule
  • Supervise, coordinate, and contribute to ad hoc and periodic updates to job plan packages for planned/controlled shutdown items per company maintenance standards, including updates to SAP data
  • Regular tracking, monitoring, and reporting of maintenance performance KPIs, per company maintenance standards


Qualification and Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years related experience
  • Diploma in engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge in SAP
  • Turnaround planning and scheduling
  • Primavera certification and skill
