Panel Operator, PDH Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jubail

An exciting opportunity is available for Panel Operator, PDH based in Jubail.


Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor and Ensure safe, smooth and efficient performance of unit to achieve key performance indicators and objectives as per procedures & Instructions.
• Responsible for safety of plant and personnel on his shift to Control Incidents/accident during shift.
• Supervise & conduct normal operation activities, Safety walk/talk & ensure product quality all time
• Monitor any deviations in normal plant/equipment running and trouble shoot plant’s operation to take corrective actions and optimize plant performance as per guidelines.
• Check the operational Parameters and analyse it to implement changes as required.
• Give instructions to subordinates for work and any corrective action to be carried out during shift.
• Update & follow up all maintenance and other jobs with all other service department.
• Plan and update preventive & turnaround maintenance and notify timely to planning department.
• Responsible to ensure the effective implementation of loss control policies and procedures in shift.
• Requesting attention of concerned support sections directly or through other staff whenever needed.
• Coordinate, control and follow up all maintenance activity in plant and with other outside agencies.
• Issue work Permits & follow up Maintenance Related activities.
• Issue mandatory shift reports as per established practice & procedures and ensure that personnel records and files are properly maintained and up dated.
• Handle, control and monitor the start-up, shutdown & plant upsets /emergency safely and efficiently.
• Contribute and participate in successful completion of plant improvements, shut downs & MOC.
• Performs E.R.T. responsibilities as stipulated in Loss Control Procedures and acts as an emergency response team leader in case of emergency.
• Control minimize and monitor flare losses & waste generation.
• Coordinates with Royal commission and other outside party for flare losses & waste management.
• Identify team and individual’s limitations and develop contingency plans to address any short fall.
• Coordinate on the job training for new team members & enhances knowledge of existing personnel.
• Plan all activities and organize own time taking into account all operations requirements and to meet production schedule efficiently during the course of the work period.
• Participate in the free flow of information needed to facilitate training, Effective way of operational and continuous improvement activities.
• The Employee shall carry out his duties safely and to the highest quality standards to comply with Company’s Loss control policies, procedures and regulations in general as well as department’s SOP and Work Instructions.
• Ensures correct information is passed on and received at the end of shift and Completes, upkeep all documentation required during plant operations neatly and accurately. This will not be limited but includes mainly the Logbook and other data records.
• The employee shall carry out Quality Coordinator and/or TQM Facilitator and other duties as requested by his supervisor in achieving plant objectives & improvements


Minimum Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma combined with minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Catofin experience is preferred.
