Operator III, RIG Production Job

An exciting opportunity is available for Operator, Production, based in Dammam who will report directly to the Sr.Supervisor Shift. 

 Summary:

Role holders will be responsible for operating, controlling, and maintaining complex equipment and monitoring its operation so that product quality and inventory are maintained.

 In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Direct operators/technicians, ensuring that all field activities are effectively coordinated during normal, start-up, and emergencies.

2. Plan and coordinate work across the process areas to ensure that operational/maintenance activities (including shutdowns, etc) are completed.

3. Understand existing processes, procedures, and practices and make recommendations for improvement.

4. Undertake troubleshooting of a more complex nature across the process’s areas.

5. Ensure operational safety practices are being followed, through monitoring the work of staff and issuing permits for maintenance work so that site activities are conducted safely.

6. Prepare relevant shift/daily reports to ensure supervisors are informed of the process status.

7. Conduct appropriate safety staff briefings to maintain operational safety.

8. Conduct observations on unsafe/safe acts and reports in a timely manner.

9. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the shift and manage all field operating/maintenance activities, ensuring they are executed safely and efficiently so that the operational area meets customer demands.

10. Monitoring staff performance through appraising and identifying training needs so that they are effectively developed to meet the requirements of the role.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
•Diploma degree.
•Minimum of 4 years experience in the same field.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Knowledge of SAP.

• Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.

• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
