An exciting opportunity is available in Rowad Global Packing Company for Operator, Offline Based in Dammam and will report directly to Supervisor slitting.

About the role:

operate Slitting machines and deliver product conforming to the predefined quality standards.

You will be responsible to:

• Take-over/Hand-Over charge of machine at the end of the shift.
• maintain proper housekeeping around the machine.
• check slitting according to the planning.
• check any abnormal noise/vibration, leakage /temperature of the machine during the operation.
• work as per safety procedures to prevent man and machine from any accident.
• obtain confirmation from the QA Lab about the next mill roll to be slitted.
• check the treatment side of the mill roll before loading new or balance roll, onto the Unwind Section.
• thread and splice the mill roll web for slitting and operate the machine as per requirement.
• set the knives as per requirement of the reel width.
• always mark the size of the silted reel before unloading on the trolley and wrapped the slitted reel with Bopp film in case of pallet packing job.
• check the quality of the film after completion of each package i.e. hardness slackness, scratches etc.
• check the high edge loose winding slip winding, wrinkles oil drops etc, during the running of the machine and take corrective action accordingly.
• ensure that during the adjustment of new setting, width is never adjusted less than specified in planning.
• ensure that straight and defect free paper cores are used, and that the small width is not cut from original core but from cut piece.
• try to minimize the waste.
• check the quality of slitting blades after two packages.
• measure reel diameter after slitting first pack.
• perform any other additional job assigned by seniors.

About You:

Minimum Qualification: Technical diploma

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years’ experience 

Required Skills:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
