Section Head, Production Job

An exciting opportunity is available for Section Head, Production based in Jeddah reporting to Manager, Plant TTLSP.


About the role:

Full responsibility of production operations at TTLSP in line with the plans set as agreed with the Plant Manager.

TTLSP Plant is a lead smelting plant with a production capacity of 10,000 metric tons per annum with a dedicated battery crusher plant


In this role, you will assume the following responsibilities & more as assigned to you:

  • Manage production activities, plans & schedules in two sites in Jeddah
  • Oversee daily production activities
  • Monitor the usage of raw materials and WIP materials throughout the full process
  • Ensure that all orders are fulfilled, and Finished Goods are delivered on time
  • Develop and implement strategic production plans
  • Establish initiatives to increase production output and reduce waste
  • Drive to reduce production cost
  • Prepare development plans for production staff


About You:

You will ideally be required to have the following requirements:

  • BSc in Chemical, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering or Chemistry
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in which 3 years as a Production Manager / Section Head
  • Knowledge of Industrial manufacturing systems: production lines, raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, preventive maintenance planning, workforce time plans, …etc.
  • Experience in smelting processes, furnaces, kilns, casting, alloying …etc. would be an advantage.
  • Experience in an ERP system (SAP, Oracle or similar) would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 system - production procedures and work instructions.
  • Experience in preparing Budgets and Master Plans with the Plant Manager
