Manager, Regional Sales Job

Work Location:  KSA > Riyadh

An exciting opportunity is available for Manager, Regional Sales, based in Riyadh and will report directly to GM, Polymers Sales & Marketing.


Job Purpose:

Leads the achievement of BU Polymers sales & marketing objective by planning, coordinating, and directing the sales activities to the clients based on in assigned regions while ensuring a good netback on overall sales.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the price list at the month end based on the latest market update.
  • Provides market intelligence to the organization to ensure that pricing models released at month end take into account the current status of sales, and regions/products where pricing needs to be adjusted to increase sales activity.
  • Evaluate market and competitor information report by the sales team in order to take a decision on market pricing and related marketing issues in line with sales and marketing objective.
  • Track customer needs through the sales tram and ensure they have update product knowledge to provide the customer with better customer service in matching the company supply which meets their expectations and delivers customer satisfaction.
  • Make regular visits to customers to obtain feedback and identify customer’s needs.
  • Ensure good business relationships in the market which support the sales efforts.
  • Collects customer feedback and follows up on customer complaints by liaising with Technology & Innovation and the manufacturing team through customer service department
  • Develops monthly sales and achievement reports to provide an overview on the month-on-month sales activity and address any outstanding issue. 
  • Oversees the operation of the trade unit function (established to make sure all supporting sales documentation between Tasnee and commercial banks are in order) to ensure the efficient release of products/materials from the warehouse and confirm receipt of payment from clients. This will include the frequent review of letter of credit issued and whether supporting documents are present.


Minimum Qualification:

  • University degree in an engineering discipline (preferably in chemical engineering)

Minimum Experience:

  • 8- 10 years of experience in the Petrochemicals industry.
  • 6 Years management experience in a senior sales & marketing role.
