Advanced Metal Industries Co. (AMIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee and Cristal.

Tasnee, signed a joint venture agreement with Japan’s Toho Titanium Company in January 2014 to build the SAR 1.6 billion project. The titanium sponge project is the region’s first of its type to produce 15,600 tons of pure titanium. The company has sent 69 Saudi engineers to train for two years in Japan on producing pure titanium.

An exciting opportunity is available for Manager, Projects Development, based in Jeddah who will report directly to EVP - SBU Metallurgy. 

 Summary:

• Responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the Business performance management and Improvement function.

 In this role, you will be responsible of:

1. Translates data, reports, or trend analysis into improvement opportunities, and recommend measures of control.
2. • Continually evaluates and improves Risk identification and mitigation processes.
3. • Introduces initiatives for Operational excellence and process improvements that align with lean sigma process improvements
4. • Creates KPIs and dashboards to measure and track progress of initiatives and prepare reports for senior management.
5. • Leads teams charged with understanding an opportunity, identifying solutions, securing resources, solving the issue.
6. • Provides coaching/training on new methodologies and tools to leaders in the organization throughout the business.
7. • Manages all Operational excellence and improvement projects against schedule and budget, communicates progress.
8. • Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area.
9. • Successful development of assigned projects to meet Metallurgy SBU goals for safety, environmental protection, quality, budget, and schedule, in accordance with the company core values.
10. • Participate in the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process for consultants, contractors, and other outside vendors and selects vendors.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• Masters or Post Graduate qualification in a specific discipline or MBA.
• 17 years experience with Advanced Degree and 10 years supervisory experience is desirable.
