Manager, Commercial Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jeddah

 

Advanced Metal Industries Co. (AMIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee and Cristal.

Tasnee, signed a joint venture agreement with Japan’s Toho Titanium Company in January 2014 to build the SAR 1.6 billion project. The titanium sponge project is the region’s first of its type to produce 15,600 tons of pure titanium. The company has sent 69 Saudi engineers to train for two years in Japan on producing pure titanium.

 

An exciting opportunity is available for Manager, Commercial , based in Jeddah and will reports directly to EVP, SBU Metallurgy.
 
Summary:
The purpose of this role is to provide the best commercial strategy and approach for a the SBU. Leads the preparation and integration of sales and marketing plans and addressing potential problems. 
Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's marketing strategy, targets, initiatives, objectives and policies. Leads the sales, marketing and customer care activities for a broad region with significant scope and volume.

 

In this role, you will be responsible of:
1.    Develop forecasts and execute strategic marketing and sales plans that are aligned with production plans of plants to achieve SBU objectives.
2.    Increase profitability with proactive and creative strategies and targeting customers from different countries. Responsible for developing and maintaining a brand strategy, aiming in building a strong business pipeline to achieve sales targets.
3.    Review and analyse sales performance against targets and identify enhancements approaches to improve effectiveness.
4.    Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing methods including distribution channels.
5.    Develop pricing and negotiation strategy based on market intelligence and strategic objectives.
6.    Initiate business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans.
7.    Ensures the organization's marketing strategies and initiatives comply with current applicable countries laws.
8.    Determine annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for business.
9.    Lead cross functional integration between sales and marketing, manufacturing and supply chain. 
10.    Develops and maintains relationships with company customers / distributors to monitor activities.
11.    Set margins for customer transactions and report on overall portfolio structure.
12.    Oversees the commercial and business development framework and methodology, ensuring this achieves improvement implementation and long-term sustainability.
13.    Monitoring and following up progress results with relevant internal stakeholders.
14.    Manage and supervise staff and scorecards to meet revenue, margin and EBITDA organization’s KPIs.

 

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing at any of the following industries: Metal, Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical industry.

 

Knowledge & Skills Required:
•    Lead and contributes to the formulation and implementation of Sales and Marketing strategy and plan to achieve company objectives.
•    Strong understanding of commercial and management principles (budgeting and resource allocation) and familiarity with finance and accounting practices.
•    Excellent leadership, planning, organizing, team building, analytical and decision-making skills. 
•    Superior analytical skills for the preparation of product demand forecasts, financial profitability of product and inventory management issues. 
•    Works closely with Company executives on the development of effective marketing, sales and negotiation strategies for product and services.
•    Focuses on business activities using technical, functional knowledge and experience.
•    Preparation of marketing intelligence reports and present to executive management.
•    Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
•    Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
•    Ability to take on responsibility and use initiative to prioritize and work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
•    Ability to combine expertise in material flow management with outstanding knowledge of information and financial aspects of the business.
