Sr Supervisor, Operation Excellence Job

An exciting opportunity is available for a Sr. Supervisor, Operation Excellence and will report directly to Superintendent, Technical Support


About you:


Lead the Operation Excellence & Improvement Program by building the right organization capabilities, systems and processes that will achieve and sustain superior business results. This includes Identifying and leading improvement projects across the Taldeen manufacturing plant, with the purpose of eliminating waste and reducing complexity in total supply chain operation. Create a culture of continuing improvements across all departments and work with section heads to identify and make incremental changes that improve the effectiveness & efficiencies.


you will be responsible to:


  • Perform analysis of existing methodologies to support the overall OE program implementation
  • Lead the implantation of the OE program which includes leading the change, understand the opportunities, support the resources & department and track the improvements & results.
  • Continues evaluation for the processes and systems for losses and complexity, and support initiating cost improvement projects and plans
  • Oversees the KPIs and dashboard to measure and track the progress of the initiatives
  • Partner with the dept. to ensure process improvements initiatives are aligned with corporate strategy & plans 
  • Manage operation excellence projects to support the overall operation excellence program and savings against schedule & budget and communicate progress and issues as appropriate.
  • Provide continues coaching and training on new methodologies and tools to dept. leaders in the organization
  • Support driving the set of behaviors, systems and structures to improve the organization’s capability to deliver the business results.
  • Maximize the overall effectiveness of equipment, processes, and organizations through elimination of losses and improvement of all Plant critical measures.



About You:


  • University degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical, process engineering) or any other related field.
  • Experience in working with complex organization performance management systems, coordinating the input of large amounts of data, data analysis and identification of issues and trends.
  • Experience in producing high quality reports for Board and Senior Management use
  • Strong sense of ownership, highly productive and efficient, with a business-like and delivery-focused approach
  • Logical thought processes, attention to detail and highly organized
  • Analytical skills and the ability to identify key issues and make rational and logical judgements based on relevant information
  • Able to think strategically, with the ability to plan effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues across the charity
  • 5-7 years of progressive management experience.
