Business Partner III, Finance PetChem Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jubail

 

 

 

An exciting opportunity is available for Business Partner III, Finance PetChem, based in Jubail.

 

Job purpose:

 

Responsible for maintaining all transactions in a defined area e.g. reconcile accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with all company policies, processes, procedures and internal controls and international accounting standards, as well as prepare accounting/analysis reports. 

 

Role responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that all transactions and reports are processed according to internal procedures and guidelines so that the company fulfils all legislative reporting requirements.
  • Ensure Company policies and procedures are in strict compliance with financial commitments and are covered by approved budgets.
  • Liaise with external bodies and representatives (e.g. external auditors, partner company representatives) as required to ensure that any queries are answered in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Identify, investigate and rectify routine errors and anomalies in data and reports so that all financial data can be relied upon.
  • Verify the accuracy of data to ensure integrity of data in the system.
  • Maintain financial files and information in a way that allows ease of retrieval of information and reports.
  • Produces reports according to defined schedules to ensure the provision of accurate, timely financial information to assist management decision-making and fulfil legislative/ regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze financial reports to provide advice to user departments. Compile year-end schedules and information required for year-end audit
  • Collect and Collate Inputs from other departments for both accuracy and justification prior to incorporation in the company budget for higher management approval.
  • Reconcile financial data according to stated schedules so that the company remains aware of its financial position on an ongoing basis and statutory reports can be timely produced
  • Ensure that the SAP database is maintained timely and accurately to provide accurate and reliable financial reports
  • Ensure internal checks and controls and flag significant deviations from budget on a timely basis to track and control expenditure.
  • Regularly review internal checks and controls in operation, with a view to ensuring their effectiveness.    
  • Provide periodical cost variance and financial reports for control and management decision making.

 

 

Qualification and Requirements:

 

  • Accounting/Finance or relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
