Advanced Metal Industries Co. (AMIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee and Cristal.

Tasnee, signed a joint venture agreement with Japan’s Toho Titanium Company in January 2014 to build the SAR 1.6 billion project. The titanium sponge project is the region’s first of its type to produce 15,600 tons of pure titanium. The company has sent 69 Saudi engineers to train for two years in Japan on producing pure titanium.

An exciting opportunity is available for Manager, SHE, based in Yanbu who will reports directly to the GM, Slagger Site. 

 Summary:

The Manager – ISD, is responsible for leading the safety, health and environmental activities, security, and emergency response at the Yanbu Site. He will implement and administer safety, health, and environmental management plans, police, standards, and programs at the sites to establish world-class performance in Occupational Safety & Health, Process Safety, and Emergency Response. The position works collaboratively with the line managers providing guidance and counsel to help them successfully administer their responsibilities in keeping their people injury free. The Manager also empowers department staff in their effort to solving problems and developing plans for improvement.

 In this role, you will be responsible of:

• Ensures that process safety management systems are in place during activities as acquisition, mothballing and process phase out.
• Manages a team of safety personnel to develop and implement all safety and environmental policies and ensure its compliance.
• Approves HSE related specifications of equipment in line with international standards and guidelines.
• Establishes procedures for investigation of personal accident/incident review and ensures they are carried out.
• Ensures development of company emergency procedures ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Monitors all safety and environmental legislation advising and communicating as appropriate.
• Liaises and represents the company at external agencies and authorities to ensure the company is always updated in compliance.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• 12 years of Advanced Degree is desirable with 10 years of supervisory experience and Master or Post Graduate qualification in a specific discipline or MBA.
