Head, Digital Business Solutions Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jubail

 

 

    An exciting opportunity is available for Head, Digital Business Solutions, based in Riyadh / Jubail and will reports directly to Head, Digital Infrastructure & Operations

 

Job purpose

 

  • Build the entire Digital Business Solutions Strategy in Tasnee and its SBUs to enable the organization vision and strategy.
  • Manage the integrity of business processes through maintenance, enhancement, and continuous improvement of enterprise business solutions.
  • Ensure applications match business requirements of SBUs and functions by ensuring the best practise approach.
  • Oversee the full cycle of Business Enterprises Solutions Deployment including determining requirements, best solution selection, testing, implementing, following up with departments heads, and offering continuous support. This includes all SAP Factional and technical modules. In addition to the large manufacturing solutions.

 

Brief Role responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee entire lifecycle of application development and maintenance
  • Position will require highly qualified individual with strong knowledge & experience of designing, implementing and developing solutions leading best practices by using SAP and non-SAP Software
  • Functional support may include but not limited to Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, hire to fire, Fix Assets, Banking and Costing, Planning, month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
  • Oversee complete development lifecycle of the applications; including gathering requirements, database management, software development, system testing, implementation, follow up, support and Project Management
  • Liaise with IT Business Partners to understand business requirements of SBUs and functions and determine solutions and applications needed to meet those requirements
  • Supervise projects and responsibilities of the Application Developers
  • Prioritize projects assigned to the Business Solutions team and ensure project teams are appropriately resourced
  • Oversee testing and implementation of applications, including offering guidance to identify and resolve program errors, technical assistance to project managers and programmers
  • Review existing applications periodically and recommend improvements
  • Responsible for maintenance, support, and upgrading of existing hardware and applications
  • Interface with external vendors to ensure that 3rd party applications are consistent with business requirements.
  • Will be responsible to manage all departmental projects
  • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and manage and develop the department staff.
  • Works on special IT projects as needed
  • Maintain and foster collaborative efforts with other IT departments to identify, develop, and implement process improvements and share best practices
  • Empower the power users knowledge and contribution.

 

Qualification and Requirements :

  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Management
  • 15+ years of experience in SAP systems support, new implementations and application development, with at least 8 years of Managerial experience
  • In depth experience in SAP  FICO, HR  , SD and other Business Applications in SAP   (with applicable Certifications)
  • Experience in manufacturing environment (Petrochemicals, Oil and Gas, Chemical and the likes)
