Engineer III, Safety Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jubail

 

An exciting opportunity is available for a Engineer III, Safety, Located in, Jubail.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Capable of leading teams providing solutions to more complex technology problems. Design major modifications in process units to improve safety & efficiencies. Technical negotiations with external entities.

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Leverage specialist knowledge and experience in the field to the benefit of the department, sharing, coaching and advising colleagues.

 

  • Work directly with engineering colleagues on complex EHSS problems leveraging own experience to ensure an efficient solution is found.

 

 

  • Support the EHSS Safety Team and Department on local, international, and industry regulations relating to EHSS to attain compliance.

 

  • Provide authoritative technical expertise in specialized areas when called upon to resolve complex problems and issues of a significant nature.

 

 

  • Monitor periodic performance reports for trends and conditions and alerts superior if needed.

 

  • Investigate EHSS accidents or problem areas and recommends future preventive measures.

 

 

  • Monitor existing and potential EHSS concerns and recommends priorities for resolution.

 

  • Identify EHSS hazards inherent in the organization’s operations and establishes guidelines for protection from those hazards.

 

 

  • Assist with the development of the awareness and training programs designed to raise EHSS awareness across all departments.
  • Make recommendations on and implement the department policies, and procedures covering all areas of department activity to ensure the delivery of a quality, cost-effective service to internal customers.

 

  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

 

  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

 

 

  • Ensure compliance with EHSM, IMRS and Responsible care.

 

  • Ensure compliance towards safety regulation within TPC.

 

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelors in Chemical or Environmental Engineering would be highly preferable, but not a must

 

Minimum Experience:

  • 4 - 6 years experience with a minimum 2 years as an HSE Specialist within a reputed Oil & Gas organization and proven successful records of efficiency, performance and achievements.
