An exciting opportunity is available for Engineer, Planning Located in Jubail, KSA.
Job Purpose:
The Planning Engineer is responsible for the effective planning and coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance activities in alignment with plant production schedules. This includes creating, managing, and optimizing work orders by allocating appropriate resources such as manpower, materials, and specialized services, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Role responsibilities:
- Process approved notifications complying to the planning procedure
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper planning and method compliance.
- Identify and ensure synchronized planning for execution using lookahead work order and maintenance plans.
- Clarify and prepare work scope in coordination with Maintenance Specialists and Supervisors.
- Request and follow up reserved material.
- Reserve and monitor Purchase Requests (PR) for direct charge materials.
- Communicate the identified services with service section during planning for scheduling.
- Arrange refurbishment of spare components related to maintenance routines.
- Prepare minimum 90-day PM look-ahead plans and share to all relevant stake holders, follow up for review and further proceeding.
- Comply on priority matrix and to maintain minimum week-4 (next four-week complete planning). Comply on planning KPIs.
- Ensure compliance on deferments procedure for preventive work orders.
- Prepare and control Maintenance OPEX Budget.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, procedures, and operational excellence programs.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Mechanical, Instruments, Electrical or Industrial.
Minimum Experience:
- At least 8 years’ experience in the industrial business as Planner in Maintenance planning and scheduling.
Job Specific Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP PM and MM Modules.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of maintenance methods, planning principles, and scheduling techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.
