Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jubail

 

An exciting opportunity is available for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer in Jubail,KSA and will reports directly to Head, of process development

 

Job purpose

TASNEE Technology and Innovation center is seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer to join Upstream Process Technology Department. The engineer will report directly to Upstream Process Technology Department manager. The successful individual will provide engineering solutions through state-of-the art CFD modeling services that include chemical reactions to solve engineering problems.

 

Role responsibilities:

 

  1. Perform Complex flow and thermal analysis on reactor mixtures using commercial CFD packages to increase understanding of the observed phenomena and promote improvement of operating conditions or equipment design.
  2. Analyze results and provide engineering consultation to the plant operation for improvement and troubleshooting.
  3. Develop technical reports in a timely fashion.
  4. Continuous improvement of model fidelity to ensure matching between model results and plant behavior.

 

Qualification and Requirements :

  1. Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering is a minimum. Higher degree is a plus.
  2. Competency in working with industry-standard CFD analysis packages to solve flow problems with chemical reactions, such as polymerization.
  3. 10 years of experience in petrochemicals/Polymers production processes
  4. In-depth understanding of polymerization kinetics and interplay between transport phenomena, thermodynamics and reaction kinetics.
  5. Familiarity with programming languages.
  6. simulation experience  polymer using ASPEN program
