Analyst II, Polymer Business Job

Work Location:  KSA > Riyadh


      An exciting opportunity is available for Analyst II, Polymer Business Located in Riyadh, KSA 


Job Purpose

     Work with Busines team, Marketers, Manufacturing, Technical Marketing, Market intelligence, Finance & T&I through different processes to make sure business Continuity.


   Role responsibilities:


  • Ensure monitoring and updating the economic models in a regular basis, 
  • Evaluates both off takers on a routine basis to review and monitor NB/ACM prices performance and any improvement or gaps are monitored and dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Provide support for setting the optimal annual business plan for BU Polymers.
  • Develops Complex contribution margin report on a monthly basis to ensure the management team is kept informed of the best utilization of monomers molecules to be followed for maximizing profit.
  • Develop and analyze economic and cost benefit impact of different pricing scenarios and assess the effect of various economics factors using sensitivity analysis technique.
  • Liaise with the Finance Business Partner to ensure that financial performance is measured and acted upon provide inputs on EBIT (P/L) for regular management reporting, review results of actual vs previous year vs budget performance.
  • Evaluating the production processes and complexity and coordinate with manufacturing plants to identify and formulate cost improvement projects while not compromising on quality.
  • Lead or participate cost improvement projects and other initiatives at plants to ensure that the plant’s P&L will meet financial goals and targets.
  • Conduct detailed analyses for the pricing formulas suggested by relevant BU for the products and provide input and recommendations.
  • Evaluates the customer feedbacks on a routine basis to ensure the product is served well.


Qualification and Requirements:


  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or other related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the petrochemical/chemical sectors with exposure to several Polymer products in polymer/chemical business
  • Experience market, business, economic department.
