Manager, PMT Job

Work Location:  KSA > Jizan

An exciting opportunity is available for a Manager, PMT and will report directly to GM, Slagger Site in Jizan.


About the role:


Responsible for managing a portfolio of several projects at one time by establishing project timelines, budgets and organizing project resources. Lead acceptance and hand over activities.


you will be responsible to:


  • Develop the most efficient plan covering the timeframe, resources and list of activities to achieve the project in the agreed time, safety, cost and quality.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of project and planning management by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Monitors the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings.
  • Collect and analyses information on project progress against plan to highlight key variances requiring cross-functional resolution and to maintain senior executive confidence in project management and delivery.
  • Lead the preparation and processing of tender requirements, including preparation of scope of work and technical specifications.
  • Determine overall project resourcing, budget and identify risks, prepare contingency plans for multiple projects to ensure that the goals are achievable within required schedules and budgets.  Forecast potential cash-flow needs and requirements.
  • Liaise with technical specialist leaders to ensure uniformity exists in targeted outputs and planned quality product is achieved.
  • Outline project requirements, assign tasks to senior and junior engineers and oversee progress to ensure that objectives are being met.
  • Motivate and develop staff to achieve and maintain good morale and improve team effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for the completion of each project phases.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within the project area to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Assist in the development of staff through sharing knowledge and participating in workshops.

About You:

Minimum Qualification & Experince:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Process engineering.
  • MBA or PMP certificate is a plus
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experince in in a middle management role.
